Opitcal Properties of NB2 and NB3:
The NB2 is a nebula booster filter that transfers OIII, H-alpha and NII emission lines, and the NB3, OIII and SII emission lines respectively. Both NB2 and NB3 are a thin-film interference filterf having a half-value transmittance band width of about 21nm at the shorter wave length side and about 19nm at the longer wave length side.

ODW stands for Optical DIstance Worker, and is a clear filter to correct the optical distance.

None of the NB2, NB3 or ODW can cut the IR range longer than 750nm, so it is highly recommended you use one of them in combination with an IDAS light pollusion filter or an HEUIB-II filter as the base fitler.
You can swap the base filter as well to expand your shooting expressions.

The more the number of "*" is, the less ghosts will be likely borne between the two filters.

Note 1

The transmittance range is intentionally shifted to the longer wave length side. allowing margins for "the shift tendency towards the shorter wave length side against oblique incidences" typically associated with thin-film interference filters. The NB2-PM/NB3-PM can almost fully transfer the abovementioned nebular emission lines under the conditions, for example, where the incidence of the parallel flux is kept below 14 degrees, or a lens of the F value 2 or faster (or 1.4 or faster depending on lens) is used before this filter.

Note 2
The NB2-PM/NB3-PM filters utilize the IGAD (ion-Gun AssistDeposition) coating technology which has been applied to our regular LPS-P2 and LPS-V4 series. The IGAD technology densifies the multi-layers - the heart of interference filters - resulting in the physical properties that cannot be obtained from the conventional multi-layers.
1) Highly durable thin layers of which hardness equals to quartz glasses. Tremendously improved adherence between the substrate and the multi-layers set.
2) Absolutely almost no aging variation in optical spectral characteristics due to temperature and humidity change as far as used in the regular human living environments.
